CNA's are direct-caregivers that function as the backbone of hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospices, and home healthcare. CNA's provide assistance with daily needs and basic care. Certification means that you have met minimum nationally-recognize standards of education, training, and care and may now use the title of CNA and are afforded all the respect that goes along with that name.
